1 – small head of cabbage (sliced)

2 Tbls. – olive oil

2 links – smoked sausage ( I used Savoie’s Pork & Alligator flavor)

4 Oz. – bacon bits or real bacon

2 cups – onion mix

2 & 1/2 Tbs. – Apple Cider Vinegar

1 Tsp. – Beef Base Bouillon – “Better Than Bouillon” Brand

2 cups – Tap Water

1/2 Tsp. – Tony Chachere’s Seasoning

1- stick of butter cut into slices

1 Tsp. – Liquid Smoke

2 Tsp. Worcestershire Sauce

1 Tsp. – Tabasco Sauce

1 & 1/2 Tsp. – Montreal Steak Seasoning

Slice Cabbage and set aside. Place olive oil in a heavy gauge pot. Layer onion mix, cabbage, bacon & sausage and keep layering until all is placed in pot. Add all other ingredients in pot cover and cook on Medium/Low stirring about every 10 minutes. Keep covered in between stirring. The cabbage will fill the pot at first but will cook down as the time goes, cook about 30-40 minutes or until cabbage is very tender add water in small amounts if you find your water is evaporating too fast. Enjoy!
