4 cans Del Monte Fresh Cut Whole green beans, drained and rinsed well under hot water
3 cups tap water
2-3 handfuls of “Holy Trinity”
3-4 medium red potatoes washed, peeled and cut into bite size cubes
4-5 shakes Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. minced garlic
2 squirts liquid smoke
1 tsp. “Better than Bouillon” beef or chicken base or 1/2 tsp. of both
1 heaping tbs. butter
1 & 1/2 to 2 ounces of real bacon bits
Montreal Steak, Tony Chachere, and Tabasco (green pepper blend) to taste
After draining and rinsing beans well under hot water, add all items in pot and cook on high for about 20-25 minutes. Lower fire to low and cooked for another 30 minutes.
